Maximiliano runs from the law after committing a robbery and seeks refuge in a town called San Pedro where, posing as a priest, he decides to get justice by defending the townspeople from the abuses of Don Oliverio, never imagining that this will lead him to a series of adventures and an encounter with love.

By daylight, Lake Miraton is a charming vacation spot; swimming, hiking, old-fashioned living and the like. It is the perfect place to spend a golden summer's afternoon. But as the sun sets on the renters of cabin 206, they begin to notice that the night brings out something different in the lake. As a malevolent darkness rises up around them, five youths are suddenly forced into a battle for their own survival. Strangers become allies; friends become enemies. Until the sun rises again, nobody will be safe.

Hijitus is a street kid who lives in a sanitary pipe in the city of Trulalá (the “cannitus“). His friends are Pichichus (his dog) and Oaky (spoiled son of the richest and most powerful man in town, Gold Silver). Trulalá is ravaged by the evil Professor Neurus, against whom the law, embodied by the “Council of Elders“ and the figure of the local Commissar, is manifestly impotent. Hijitus's “amiguitus“ group is also composed of Larguirucho, a naughty and naive young man who shares his time between participating in the evil plans of Neurus, play with Oaky and ask for help to Hijitus, without becoming aware of good and evil . To fight evil and especially defend his friends, Hijitus becomes Super Hijitus, an indestructible superhero with incredible abilities, thanks to the power granted by his “Magic Sombreritus“. The dream of Professor Neurus is to seize the wonderful hat, and through this, to control Trulala, and Hijitus will always be willing to prevent it.

At one last attempt to get back together, a separated couple discovers just how far apart they’ve grown. He still clings to the idea of a conventional family, while she has already stepped into another life: living on her own, committed to her work, and unwilling to give up control over her body or her convictions.
